“Touch Him”

And Jesus said, ‘Who touched me?’  When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, ‘Master, the multitude throng thee, and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?’ Luke 8:45

The multitudes were thronging Jesus. That is, they were compressing, and crowding in on all sides, so it seems strange that He would ask, ‘Who touched me?’ Many people were physically touching Jesus, but this woman touched His power by faith. Many people in the crowd probably needed healing, but this person is the only one mentioned who received. The difference was the touch of faith -convictions.

If it was simply Jesus’ willingness to heal that determined whether or not the healing took place, then all of the sick in this multitude would have been healed. This instance illustrates that it’s not prayer that saves the sick, but rather the prayer of faith – convictions that saves the sick, James 5:15.

Healing is governed by law and not by a case by case decision from God based on His feelings toward us. This woman received her healing by the law of faith before Jesus knew anything about her. Impassioned pleas to God will not obtain the miracle fruit we seek. Although Jesus is touched by our feelings, it requires faith. It’s not because Jesus does not know our needs or hear our cries that miracles fruits do not happen, but rather
it’s because very few know how the law of faith  or conviction works.

One of the main differences between a God-kind of faith and a natural, human faith, which everyone has, is that human faith believes only what it can see, taste, hear, smell, or feel. God’s kind of faith believes in things that cannot be seen. You must believe that you receive your answer ‘when you pray’ – not when you see the thing you have desired. Simply put, faith is our response to God’s ability, made complete by our actions. Trust Him completely and, because you believe, your actions will follow.

Petition.

Father!
Today they do trust you. Their convictions are directed to your abilities and your finished works. Using it, they touch you, the son and the Holy Spirit. I affirm this in the name of Jesus; in the person of the Holy Spirit! Amen!

What He Says

About: The Holy Spirit

“The Holy Ghost Is In You”

‘What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

COMMENT

The Holy Spirit is in you. This is to mean, he lives inside you; he abides in you (spirit); he rests in you (spirit) and he is at HOME in you (Spirit)!

‘ Of God ‘ is suggestive of the truth that the Holy Spirit comes, originates, and emanates from God the Father – He is original not a duplicate!

VERDICT

‘ The HOLY SPIRIT rests and abides in YOU! ‘

Confessing The Name of God

“Walking In Grace”

Father! Thank you for giving me gifts. I have them   differing. According to the grace that is given to me. Prophecy, I prophesy according to the proportion of faith.  Apostolic Ministry, I wait on my ministering. Teaching, I wait on teaching. Exhorting, I wait on exhortation. About giving, I wait  on giving with simplicity. In ruling or administration, with diligence. In showing mercy, with cheerfulness.

Father! concerning spiritual gifts, I am not ignorant. I have understanding. No man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed. No man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. There are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

Father! The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. To one, you have given by the Spirit the word of wisdom. To another the word of knowledge. To another faith. To another the gifts of healing. To another, the working of miracles. To another prophecy. To another discerning of spirits. To another diverse kinds of tongues. To another the interpretation of tongues! Father! I take my portion gladly! Glory!

Commitment statement;

Father! You have given me gifts, I recieve!
